A REVIEW looking at the concerns of nearly 16,000 people who called for a probe into A and E at Stoke Mandeville has been agreed.
The urgent care system in Bucks is to be scrutinised after the campaign which took place over the summer.
A Liberal Democrat petition, spearheaded by Cllr Julia Wassell, gained over 15,000 names, demanding an investigation.
On Thursday, it was announced a working group is to be set up to look into it - a move which pleased Cllr Wassell.
It was put on ice at last month's Bucks County Council Health and Adult Social Care Committee, but Chairman Cllr Lin Hazell said: "It was never our intention not to look into this."
But she said it was not all about A and E, explaining: "Health delivery in Wycombe will be looked at in our next working group.
"It's not necessarily A and E as Wycombe doesn't have an A and E."
She said the group will examine the whole urgent care system in an 'encompassing' review.
