Decrease in patients shifted from ward to ward
THE number of patients being moved twice or more from ward to ward has been significantly reduced, health officials announced this week.
Statistics based around ensuring the patient sees the right expert clinician at the right place showed a 40 per cent decrease.
There were 106 per month in quarter 3 in 2011-12 compared to 61 in 2012-13, data showed.
