AN INDEPENDENT councillor has raised concerns a new recycling scheme won't work in the village he represents.
Seb Berry, Chiltern District Council's member for Great Missenden, said any modifications from the proposed system should be applied to whole streets rather than individual addresses.
He said "significant practical issues" over the scheme need addressing before it is officially implemented in the summer.
Cllr Berry said: "It's now vital that discussions between the council, contractor, local representatives and village groups about specific roads throughout Great Missenden ward are held as soon as possible.
"It's in everyone's interests to do so before inappropriate decisions about who and who is not eligible for the modified service are taken."
He added a village walk through will be held with officers and Cllr Peter Martin, Chiltern District Council's cabinet member for waste, next month to consider the practicalities of the new service.
