McCORKELL"NORMAN"2nd Anniversary" In loving memory of a much loved husband, father and granda who died on 4th May 2011. I sat beside your bedside, my heart was crushed and sore, I did my best until the end, 'til I could do no more, In tears I watched you sinking, I watched you fade away, And though my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay. You left behind my aching heart, I loved you most sincere, I never shall and never will forget you Norman dear. Peace perfect peace. Loved and missed by your loving wife Kathleen. It's hard to put on paper the words we'd like to say, To tell you that we love you and miss you every day, God saw you getting tired dad, a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me", A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Love and miss you always your loving daughter Elaine, son-in-law Martin and grandchildren Daniel and Caolan. God came and stood beside your bed, These are the words I think he said, You have suffered more than you can stand, Now come with me to a better land. You fell asleep without a fuss, And broke the hearts of all of us. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper for you to hear, That we still miss you dearly and wish that you were here. Loved and sadly missed by your daughter Caroline, son-in-law John and grandson Ciaran. High Wycombe. I wish that I could see you Daddy, for just a little while, I wish that I could hug you and see your lovely smile, But wishing gets me nowhere, And longing is in vain. So I will hold you in my heart. Until we meet again. A beautiful memory, more dearer than gold, Of a Granda whose worth can never be told, There's a place in our hearts no one can ever fill, We miss you, Granda, and always will. Miss you more everyday and love you more than words can say All our love now and forever. Your daughter Clare, son-in-law Ian and grandchildren Aidan & Ava Marie, High Wycombe. XXXXXXX
