BUSBY Gordon Brian Dearly loved brother of Maureen (Daniel) and beloved friend to Patricia, was called to rest on 30th January, 2023 at his home after a long illness, aged 74 years. Gordon, loyal and caring son of Arthur and Ivy Busby (deceased) will be dearly remembered by his niece Mairin and his nephews Matthew and William, and by his grandnieces Cora and Francesca in Canada. The funeral will take place at Christ the Servant King Church, Booker on Thursday 9th March, 2023 at 11.30am and after at the Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham at 1.00pm. Flowers welcome or donations would be gratefully received in Gordon's memory to: Cancer Research UK, c/o Arnold Funeral Service Ltd, 891, London Road, Loudwater, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP10 9TB, or online at gordonbusby.muchloved.com. Gordon will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. All are welcome to celebrate Gordon with us.

I remember last meeting up with Gordon with my daughter Caitlin, and her infant son Callum at Gordon's favourite fish and chip shop in High Wycombe. We struck up an instant friendship, and it was immediately apparent Gordon's passionate interest in politics and social issues of the day. Brexit was then high on the list of topics! He had a warmth that he extended to us generously. We will miss him.
