BATES Doreen Iris It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Iris Bates (née Bond) announces her passing on Sunday 3rd May 2020, in Hampden Hall Care Centre, Weston Turville aged 80 years. Doreen passed away very peacefully and was much loved by her family: husband Bill, daughter and partner Claire and Mike, son and partner John and Piera, grandson Christopher, sister and brother-in-law Carole and John, brother Richard, and will always have a very special place in their hearts. The family would like to thank Ward 6 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the nurses and carers at Hampden Hall Care Centre for all their support and kindness in these difficult times. Due to the Coronavirus there will be a private family cremation at Chilterns Crematorium. Donations to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue in memory of Doreen can be made to KY Green Funeral Directors, 29 Cambridge Street, Aylesbury, Bucks HP20 1RP
