Joan Ethel Potkin Of Holmer Green, a much loved Mother and Nana, passed away peacefully on 18th February 2019 aged 80 years. Funeral service will be held at The Hampden Chapel, Chilterns Crematorium Amersham at 2pm on Thursday 14th March 2019. Flowers or donations if preferred for the RSPCA may be sent c/o Surman & Horwood Funeral Service, The Green, Crowell, Chinnor, OX39 4RR.

Rest in peace Mum. Both you and Dad had such an influence on my life. Had funny conversations when I was in Southampton which helped to keep a certain normality. You loved coming into the shed for a chat whilst I did my pottery. You also enjoyed waving at me when I had technical drawing lessons at the end of the day and waving at me whilst in my lesson after you finished work at whsmith. You and dad also helped us bringing up Phoebe to be to mature and sensible minded individual that she has become. She still laughs about not wanting sweets when you were out with her. Zoe and Daisy have benefitted from your chats and 2 great grandchildren you would have loved. Love you mum. Life is so short and you were taken too soon xx
