Chamberlin, Sylvia Margaret Passed away peacefully on 11th November 2018 aged 84 years. Beloved wife to Raymond, mother of Stephen, David and Roderick, sister to the late Celia. Sylvia was born and lived her early life in Manchester, attending Manchester High School for Girls and Manchester University. She taught Science and Mathematics at a number of schools including Beaconsfield High School. On her retirement she became an active and influential beekeeper in High Wycombe and beyond. Throughout her life the recurrent themes of travel, a love of Nature and education constantly interwove - at no time more prevalent than with her work with Bees for Development in the rebuilding of Kosovo following the conflict there. The funeral will be held at GreenAcres Chiltern Cemetery and Ceremonial Park on Monday 26th November 2018 at 11.00am Donations towards the Alzheimer's Research UK will be gratefully received.
