Despite two of Wycombe’s fixtures being called off this month, some Chairboys fans managed to get their festive football fix as they have been spotted attending local Non League matches.
Several supporters were seen at the B.E.P Stadium on December 18, the home of Risborough Rangers, to watch the Reds defeat Oxhey Jets 4-1 and eclipse Arsenal’s 49 game unbeaten run in the league.

The win over the Jets was their 50th consecutive league match without a defeat – a run that dates back to April 2019.
That same day, Wycombe had been scheduled to face Bolton, but the fixture was called of due to a Covid infection in the Trotters’ camp.

Wanderers’ Boxing Day clash against Cambridge was also called off, as well as several local games due to positive Covid cases and waterlogged pitches.
This caused worry amongst some fans who thought their annual festive match would not take place.

However, with some supporters not travelling to Wanderers’ fixture against Ipswich on December 29, and with some not planning to attend the New Year’s Day clash away at Charlton, fans decided to stay closer to home to watch a live game of football.
After a notice was shared on social media to support local sport, hundreds of fans descended on Holmer Green’s Watchet Lane on December 30.
Holmer Green were hosting Risborough Rangers in a Spartan South Midlands Football League fixture, and even though the home side were thumped 6-0 by the visitors, a crowd of 253 were present at the stadium.
This is a huge jump from previous weeks, as the Greens have averaged around 50 spectators in recent months.
Some fans, who attended the thrashing on December 30, also revealed that if Wanderers’ future matches are postponed, they will attend a Non League fixture.
Other Wycombe fans were also spotted at Aylesbury United, Marlow and Chesham United's fixtures over the festive period.
It has also been reported that some Wanderers supporters will attend the B.E.P Stadium on January 8, at the conclusion on Wycombe's match with Sunderland.
The Chairboys host the Black Cats in a 12.30 kick off, with some hoping to make the short trip to Risborough to watch Rangers' fixture against Leighton Town.
Risborough are top of the table with five games in hand over Leighton, who currently sit second.
