Inside the house was a 7-year-old boy with his grandparents who are said to be “fearful for their lives”.
Residents have described this as an "unprovoked attack" with the young boy now undergoing counselling after the traumatic event.
The man is said to be wearing a “Stone Island hoodie and distinctive footwear” as residents are asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward.
