Name: Gemma Acreman

Age: 27

Occupation: Hospitality management

From: Scotland, but lives in Wooburn Green now

Pub: The Bounty, Bourne End

Why do you love it? The Bounty is totally unpretentious; it has this wonderful welcoming laid back ambience. I used to live on a boat so I love being by the water and even if I have the gloomy blues I know I can wander down there, sit with a cold pint, watch the world go by and instantly feel better.

How long have you been going there? A year-and-a-half, since I moved to Bucks. Even when I've had a bad day and think of returning back to Scotland I can go down to The Bounty, sit by the water, sip a cold cider and watch the boats go by...

Where do you sit? Always outside... Unless it's really rainy.

What are the staff like? It's a place where you get to know the staff on a personal level and that's what makes you go back.

What’s been your best night at the pub? Having the artist Peter Classey draw a portrait of you over a cold cider was pretty great.

What do you normally drink? Tequila...Lots of tequila.

Any funny stories? As of yet I haven't fallen in the water...  But give it time!
