1.MEET the Saxons and Vikings in their camp as they cook, work and practice their fighting at the Chiltern Open Air Museum in Chalfont St Giles this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday at 11.30am there will be a Weapons Demonstration and Skirmish, at 12pm Viking Training School for Children will begin, at 2pm there will be an Archery Demonstration and at 3.30pm a Viking and Saxon Battle. The museum buildings are also open to visitors. Tickets are £8.80 for adults, £7.70 concessions, and £5.50 for children (aged five to 16). Family tickets also available. 2.THERE is a Summer Fun Day at Uplands House in Four Ashes Road, High Wycombe on Sunday from 11am-4pm. There will be something to do for all the family including a BBQ, bouncy castles, games for the children, races, stalls and crafts and dog show. 3.THERE is plenty going on down at J.A.R.M Farm in Little Missenden. There will be two open days on Saturday and Sunday with a chance to see pigs, sheep, ponies, cows, baby chick and baby rabbits. There will also be craft and food stalls, a straw maze for the children, beer tent, hog roast and a BBQ with meat from the farm. Money raised will go to Help For Heroes.

4.ENJOY a weekend walk at Cliveden tomorrow from 2-3pm. New for 2012 join the senior gardener, Chantal, on Saturday for a free guided stroll around the grounds. 5.EXPLORE Mrs Twit’s revolting nose at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden on Saturday and Sunday. There will be drop ins throughout the day to make your own nose based on The Twits’ character. Cut out warts and spots to add to a nose shape. Free for museum visitors.
