A FLAMENCO dancer who has taught in Oxfordshire for about ten years is bringing her classes to Marlow.
Amarita Vargas first discovered the dance when she went to Spain about 15 years ago, and hasn't looked back since.
She said: "About 15 years ago I went to Seville and got the bug. I just love it. It is very demanding."
As well as being an intense workout she said it also has a lot of emotional content and works well for right and left co-ordination.
Amarita said: "It is very good for overall fitness and also mental agility."
And she also said it will be a good stress reliever as people forget their worries in a dance class.
She said she has had a lot of interest from Bucks residents and will be working in conjunction with the Wycombe Swan to run events during the summer.
Classes start at The Marlow Club in Fieldhouse Lane on February 2 from 7-8pm. It is a seven week course for £70. For enquiries about courses call 07526487492 or email info@amaritavargas.com. Go to www.amaritavargas.com.
