Two Wycombe Wanderers players have departed the club on loan.
The first was central midfielder Jack Young, who joined Dorking in January.
The 23-year-old (who turns 24 on October 21), has struggled for game time since moving to Adams Park from Newcastle United, playing just eight times.
However, despite featuring in a handful of fixtures, he did play a huge part in Wycombe’s 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town in March 2022.
His long ball injury-time caused havoc in the Cod Army box, which led to Jason McCarthy smashing home to secure an important win for Wycombe.
Wanderers would secure a spot in that year’s play-offs by one point, and many believe the victory over Fleetwood was ‘that’ crucial win which made the difference.
His move to Dorking is the third loan move of his Adams Park career, after he spent some of last season at Ayr United and Wealdstone respectively.
In addition to Young’s exit, Wycombe defender Jack Matton has moved out on loan to Bracknell Town, linking up with fellow Chairboys youngster Jahiem Dotse.
Other Wanderers who are also out on loan include Brody Peart (Basingstoke), Christie Ward (Weymouth), Laurie Shala (Potters Bar), Luca Woodhouse (Dagenham & Redbridge) and Taylor Clark (Farnborough).
