Matt Bloomfield has stated that his players ‘are fighting’ to give Wycombe fans a first win since October ahead of their New Year’s Day clash with Bristol Rovers.
A 0-0 draw away to Leyton Orient on Friday evening means the Chairboys are now 12 games without victory in League One and are moving ever closer to the relegation zone.
Boos were heard at the full-time whistle at the Gaughan Group Stadium on December 29, as pressure continues to grow on the club legend.

"We understand that. The boys are fighting. Thank you to all our fans for coming and supporting us."#Chairboys
Bloomfield has only been in the Wanderers hot seat since February following the departure of Gareth Ainsworth to Queens Park Rangers.
Amid the frustration of the fans, Blues boss Bloomfield said: “Incredible support from our supporters again.
“It’s not fun not winning for that amount of games.
"We all want to be celebrating three points and wins every week.
"It’s why we’re involved in the game.”
The Chairboys face an in-form Bristol Rovers side in their next game on New Year’s Day, with the Gas having won four of their last five games in all competitions.
It comes after their recent appointment of former Exeter City boss Matt Taylor, who has taken Rovers up to ninth in the League One table.
Since the Fleetwood win, Wycombe have scored nine in 12, but six of those strikes came in October.

Two against Peterborough, two against Oxford and two against Bolton.
Today, there were times when players preferred to pass than shoot.
Lack of confidence? #Chairboys
Ahead of the game, Bloomfield explained: “They are a team in good form.
“We’re working hard and we’re trying to get that win for the supporters.
“We’ve had lots of challenges along the way. The boys are fighting.
“Thank you to all our fans for supporting us.
“In 20 years here I know how much this club means to them.
“We’re working the best we possibly can to give them the results they deserve.”
