Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield praised the performance of Brandon Hanlan following the club’s 2-2 draw at Peterborough United.
The ex-Bristol Rovers and Gillingham man scored the opener in what was his third goal of the season.
He also had two more other opportunities to score, before being substituted for Garath McCleary with 10 minutes remaining.
He said: “I believe Brandon is growing as a player in terms of his output for the team.

“We know about his threat in behind, his physical prowess and how he can drive us up the pitch.
“I feel he is adding to his game as he is working so hard at the training ground.
“He is such a good lad and he’s a hard worker and overall, a very good person foremost.
“He cares about his football and his career which is good to see, and he’s performing at a really top level.
“Long may that continue.”
The draw was a statement of intent for the rest of the League One teams, as Wycombe continue to push for a top six place.

The result means Wycombe have picked up 20 points from their last 10 games, which has put them third in the form table, with only Portsmouth and Oxford United sitting above them.
Additionally, the draw at the Posh is the first of four games to be played across the next 10 days.
Bloomfield added: “I’m pleased with the performance as Peterborough will be competing for promotion at the end of the season.
“I felt the boys performed admirably and I’m pleased with the way we pressed.
“I believe in the staff, team and club.
