Former Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Dominic Gape is currently on trial at Queens Park Rangers.
The 28-year-old, who became a free agent this summer after spending seven seasons with the Chairboys, was named in the West London side's starting XI in their 2-0 away win against Reading this afternoon [July 25].
He had been on trial with League Two Stockport County and played in several friendlies during their pre-season tour of Spain, but no move materialised.

A spectator who was present at today’s non-competitive fixture between the two former Premier League sides said Gape ‘looked tidy’, before coming off after 60 minutes.
The Loftus Road team are managed by Gareth Ainsworth, who spent more than 10 years in charge of Wanderers between 2012 and 2023.
In other transfer news, Curtis Thompson is expected to join Stevenage on a free transfer after he too left the club this summer.

The 29-year-old only featured in six games last season after he suffered a serious knee injury in February 2022.
If he were to sign for the newly-promoted League One side, he will be reunited with Nick Freeman, who joined the Hertfordshire club earlier on in the window.
Finally, despite being released in June, Daryl Horgan is expected to feature in Wycombe’s away friendly against Wealdstone this evening [July 25].

This is in a bid to keep up with fitness to try and find a new team.
The Republic of Ireland international played 101 times for the Chairboys between 2020 and 2023, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Stevenage where he helped the Boro win promotion to League One.
