Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed that striker Sam Vokes will be remaining with the club for the 2023/24 season.
The 33-year-old, who has scored 23 goals in 84 appearances since joining the Chairboys from Stoke City in the summer of 2021, confirmed the news on April 19, one day after his side’s 2-1 away victory over Cambridge United.

The Welshman has joined Joe Jacobson, Josh Scowen, David Wheeler, Jack Grimmer, and Jason McCarthy in penning new deals to stay at Wycombe for the following season, and the Bucks Free Press will be speaking to Vokes on April 20, ahead of Wanderers’ home match against Lincoln City this weekend.
