We’re now down to the final five.
Wycombe Wanderers know that if a third play-off campaign in four years is achievable, they will need to get at least 10 points from the final 15 available to secure a top-six finish.
They take on a Morecambe side this weekend who are also in need of points, as they sit in the relegation zone on the verge of ending their two-year stay in England’s third tier.
📘 Get wise ahead of Morecambe.

So here is everything you need to know for Morecambe vs Wycombe Wanderers.
Background and Morecambe’s current form
The Shrimps will be hoping that this season will not end in relegation as they aim to secure their third consecutive year in League One.
Since their promotion to the third tier in 2021 for the first time in their history, they have won just 17 of their 88 matches in the division.
And they have an uphill task in order to avoid the drop.

They currently sit second bottom on 35 points, five points off safety.
But a concerning factor for Morecambe is that they have also played the most games in the league compared to anyone else at this stage.
With 42 matches chalked up, all the teams around them have at least one game in hand.
This will mean if they fail to get a win over Wycombe this weekend, League Two football for the 2023/24 season is almost inevitable.
Derek Adams’ men are also one of the out-of-form teams across the 92, with just one win in their last 15 matches.
Background and Wanderers’ current form
The 2-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers on Easter Monday just three days after the Good Friday thrashing at Ipswich Town was the perfect tonic over the holiday weekend.
The win against the basement team has allowed renewed hope another play-off push, in what has been a rollercoaster of a campaign.
Of course, easier said than done as the Chairboys currently sit outside the top six, but with the incentive of Championship football on the horizon, Matt Bloomfield and his team know the time is now to achieve.
