Former Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth has been nominated for February’s Manager of the Month Award in League One.
The 49-year-old departed the Adams Park side on February 21 to join Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, whilst Wanderers legend Matt Bloomfield has returned to the club following a brief spell at Colchester United.

He picked up maximum points in four games before moving to QPR.

Prior to Ainsworth’s move to West London, he won all four games he took charge of during the month, which included important home victories against Derby County and Bolton Wanderers respectively.

The other managers that have been nominated for the accolade include Fleetwood Town’s Scott Brown, Sheffield Wednesday’s Darren Moore and Barnsley’s Michael Duff.
