Manager Matt Bloomfield hopes that several of Wycombe Wanderers’ development players will get regular minutes between now and the end of the season.
The Chairboys’ bench in the 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town on Tuesday [March 7] consisted of names that have collectively featured just 55 times for the club.
But with players such as Tjay De Barr, Jasper Pattenden, and Jack Wakely getting periodic minutes from the bench in recent fixtures, the 39-year-old believes more is yet to come from those on the periphery.
He said: “We are carrying a couple of injuries at the moment which happens.
55 - That's how many matches the Wycombe bench for tonight's game have played collectively for the club.

“But the development boys are eager to learn and improve and hopefully they will be able to learn a lot from the experience.
“We hope to have some of the experienced ones back in time for the weekend.”
One of Wanderers’ subs from the victory over the Cod Army on March 7 was Christie Ward.
The striker, who joined Wycombe from Non League Brockenhurst in the summer, has spent the last four months on loan at Hungerford Town where he scored two goals in 15 matches.
Speaking about the young Welsh midfielder, Bloomfield added: “I really like the look of Christie.
@wwfcofficial haved recalled Christie Ward @_Christieward who has been an integral part of our team in recent months.

“He’s got a bright future ahead of him.
"We don’t want to put lots of expectations onto him, but there is a reason why we recalled him from Hungerford as I wanted him to be on the bench for tonight.
“We want to help him with his development.”
Since joining Wanderers, Ward has played twice for the club.
They were in the Football League Trophy against Peterborough United, and in the Berks and Bucks Cup versus Bracknell Town respectively.
