The 28-year-old was announced an hour before the Chairboys kicked-off their league match against Derby County on February 11, with the defender being included in the matchday squad.
He has been without a club since being released from the Black Cats in the summer of last year.
Willis will be at the club until the end of the season, where he will wear the number 16 shirt, which was last worn by Sullay Kaikai.
