Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Max Stryjek and centre-back Alfie Mawson are not expected to leave the club this month.
Rumours have circulated over the future of the two players during the course of this current transfer window, with some murmurs indicating that they could both be heading for the exit door at Adams Park.
Any chance of seeing Alfie Mawson in a Wycombe shirt again at some point? This precaution is dragging for way too long.

However, the Free Press understands that ‘there is no truth in [the] speculation’ ahead of Tuesday night's deadline.
Where did the rumours come from?
Questions were raised over Stryjek’s future following the arrival of Hull City keeper, Harvey Cartwright, on loan for the rest of the season.
Cartwright, who also had a brief spell with Peterborough United this season, was thought to be arriving at Adams Park as a second choice.

However, Tigers manager Liam Rosenior explained that he let the 20-year-old keeper move to Wanderers ‘to play games’, raising potential questions over Stryjek's position.
If he gets the significant game time that Leroy Rosenior hopes, that's probably bad news for Max Stryjek :-(

He said: “ It's a great loan.
"If I could pick a club for him to learn the rigours of first-team football under a manager, it would be Gareth [Ainsworth].
"It's a great football club and Barry Richardson has got a great relationship with Wycombe.
"Wycombe is a fantastic move for him."

"We will be keeping close tabs on him as I think he will be a huge benefit for us [Hull City], but he needs to play games and I think [going to] Wycombe will be a fantastic loan for him."
Stryjek joined Wycombe for an undisclosed fee in August from Livingston and has kept 11 clean sheets in 26 matches in all competitions.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth explained that his omission from recent squads is down to a ‘precaution’, following the centre-back’s well-documented knee issues.

Additionally, it was reported that Mawson was ‘in contention’ to be in the squad for Wanderers’ away fixture at Bristol Rovers on January 21.
But after the match was postponed due to the cold conditions, the centre-back was again missing from Wycombe’s squad three days later when Oxford United visited Adams Park.
