Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Chem Campbell on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old, who has played six times in the Premier League, comes straight into the Chairboys squad and could be in contention to feature against Port Vale this Saturday [February 4].
He becomes the club’s second arrival this transfer window following Harvey Cartwright, who has also joined on loan, but from Hull City.

Speaking on his entrance at Adams Park, Campbell said: “You can expect me to be direct, take players on and create chances for myself and for the team.
“I’ll try and excite the fans as much as I can.”

Who is Chem Campbell
Born on December 30, 2002, in the Second City of Birmingham, Campbell began his career with the Blues but was released as a schoolboy.
Moving across the Midlands to Wolves, he has since represented the club on 17 competitive occasions since joining during the 2016/17 season, which includes six times in the Premier League.
He recently signed a new long-term deal with Old Gold side in October last year.

Internationally, he has featured once for Wales Under 17s.
What can he bring?
An attacking midfielder, who can also play as a winger, Campbell will provide competition with Anis Mehmeti and Garath McCleary in the wide roles to make sure that Wycombe’s talisman, Sam Vokes, or Brandon Hanlan, are being fully utilised.

His arrival at the club is also much needed following the departures of five attacking players in Connor Parsons, Sullay Kaikai, Ali Al-Hamadi, Daryl Horgan, and D’Mani Mellor this month respectively.
Additionally, the 20-year-old bagged nine goals for Wolves’ U23s during the 2021/22 season, as the club won promotion to the Premier League 2 Division One.
Certainly one for the future, Wolves technical director Scott Sellars said of Campbell in 2022: "We are obviously delighted with Chem’s progress over the last few years, especially the form he has shown with the under-23s.
"He has now progressed to the first-team squad having been a player who would regularly train with them.
