A study has revealed that Wycombe Wanderers’ stadium, Adams Park, has been named as one of the safest to visit in the UK.
The research, which was conducted by www.scams.info, has shown that in the last 11 years between 2011 and 2022, there have been 0.09 incidents reported per 100 attendants.

The Chairboys are joint third on the list with League One counterparts Bolton Wanderers, and have only been bested in the table by Manchester United with 0.06 in second place, and Brighton & Hove Albion with 0.04 incidents reported.

In fact, Wycombe’s average annual crime incidence of 113 is the second-lowest in the website’s entire study.
Aiden Howe from Scams.info said: “Away games involve going to the other teams’ home turf which means a heightened risk of being the target of football-related violence.
“Be careful when walking around wearing your team’s kit in areas where rowdy home fans are likely to accumulate.

“Large crowds also attract petty theft as it allows anonymity for pickpockets, so make sure your bags are zipped and not left unattended, avoid flashing cash or expensive items in public making you a target for criminals.”

Just along the M4, Wycombe’s Thames Valley rivals in Reading also appeared on the list in fifth place with 0.10 incidents reported.
