Sam Vokes returned to the squad but was an unused substitute in the game at Highbury Stadium, whilst Ryan Tafazolli played his first fixture for the club for nearly a month.

Speaking after the draw, the boss said: “I’m really pleased with where we are as we are getting stronger.
“Sullay is coming back really quickly, D’Mani and Brandon are not far behind too.
“The only long-term is Curtis Thompson but he will play his part in the second half of the season without a doubt.
“What a squad I’ve got.
“I’ll be leaving players out of the squad and that will be tough, never mind the team.
“We will crash this party and I can’t wait to do it.”
A dogged display by the players. I apologise!!! I let myself, team mates, staff & travelling fans down with my actions today being as experienced as I am I know better. 🙏🏾

Finally, the boss paid tribute to the late Bill Turnbull who died at the age of 66 on August 31.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter and Wanderers fan passed away after battling prostate cancer since 2017, with the much-loved journalist being remembered in the 66th minute with around of applause.
Ironically, moments after his tribute, Fleetwood scored their equaliser through Admiral Muskwe, who was once of Wycombe.
Ainsworth concluded: “The goal happened around Bill’s minute of applause, and of course, there was a refereeing decision.

“That was his bane for Wycombe, he would always go on about the referees, so Bill, if you’re up there, you’ve seen that one and I’m sure that he is arguing with the refereeing gods.

“It was tough to take after a valiant effort, but it happens.”
Bill will be remembered in Wycombe’s next home match on September 10, which is against Port Vale.
