A thief who stole more than £2,000-worth of goods from Waitrose in High Wycombe has been ordered to pay costs.
At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on May 18, Brian Lawrence, of Haringey in London, admitted to stealing £2,235.15-worth of products from Waitrose in High Wycombe.
It is not clear exactly what Fawcett stole on April 20 this year, but court documents outline that it was a “variety” of products.
After admitting the offence, Lawrence was fined £60 and told to pay £180 costs for his crime by the magistrates.
At the hearing, Lawrence also pleaded guilty to a second charge of theft – admitting to stealing £113.50-worth of goods from Matalan, also in High Wycombe.
Lawrence was slapped with a further £60 for this offence and was also given a one-year community order for his two crimes.
