Flooding has been reported in Chalfont St Peter after a manhole cover was lifted.
Following heavy rain overnight and this morning, a warning has been issued to avoid the village’s High Street due to flooding.
According Councillor Isobel Darby, who sent out a tweet warning people to avoid the area, a fire engine is on the scene of the lifted manhole, attempting to deal with the incident.
Bucks fire have been approached for comment.
