Chesham United have progressed into the next round of the Berks and Bucks Cup after defeating county rivals Aylesbury United 2-0 at the Meadow.
In a match of little chances on Tuesday, November 8, goals from Tobias Braney and Jack Smith in the final 10 minutes sent the Generals through into the next round.
Ironically, Chesham were drawn as the ‘away’ team to face the Ducks despite the match taking place at their home ground.

This is because Aylesbury currently ground share with Chesham as they continue to find a stadium of their own.

The central Bucks club are now in their sixth-straight season at the Meadow, and they haven’t had a stadium to call home since the 2005/06 campaign.

We have been drawn at HOME to @BeaconsfieldFC in the 2nd Round Proper of the @BerksandBucksFA Senior Cup
Tie will likely be played later this month at the Meadow, date to be advised
For the past 17 seasons, they have ground shared with Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, Thame United in Oxfordshire, and Chesham United on a previous occasion, before returning to the latter in 2017.
