A FILM crew for a hit Netflix series has reportedly been spotted shooting scenes in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
Eight lorries and other vehicles were seen parked on the side of a field in Pednor near Chesham on Saturday (January 21).
The crews are rumoured to be part of filming for the sixth season of The Crown, a popular fictionalised drama series about the royal family currently streaming on Netflix.
Pednor resident Simon Thomas decided to approach the security guards after getting “intrigued” by the parked vehicles and crews.
He said: “I go running round there quite a bit. The security guards weren’t giving too much away but when I asked what they were filming they said the new series of The Crown.
“We love The Crown so will be watching the next series with added interest!”
After Mr Thomas posted on OurChesham Facebook group, other residents rushed to comment.

Another resident claimed they received a notification about the filming dates, including Sunday 22 January until January 27, and 30 January to February 3.
Buckinghamshire Council’s Film Office said: “The Buckinghamshire Film Office is unable to disclose information about productions who are currently filming due to the confidential nature of the business.
"We will wherever possible promote productions on their release on our social media channels or news section.”
