TWO Buckinghamshire eateries were given new food hygiene ratings following inspections, including a Chesham takeaway.
The food safety regulator Food Standards Agency inspects restaurants, cafes, canteens, pubs, bars and takeaways for their hygiene standards during surprise inspections.
Two establishments in Buckinghamshire were rated recently, including Rocce Woodstone Pizza in Chesham, which was rated good.
After the inspection, the FSA gives out a rating, which customers can see displayed on the window of the business and online to help decide where to buy food from.
Businesses can score one of the six hygiene ratings:
5 – hygiene standards are very good
4 – hygiene standards are good
3 – hygiene standards are generally satisfactory
2 – some improvement is necessary
1 – major improvement is necessary
0 – urgent improvement is required
