SANTA is set to fly low over Buckinghamshire today, and this is when you can spot him on county’s skies.
Santa Claus has swapped his reindeers for something faster this Christmas – an RAF Puma helicopter.
His special transportation is due to fly lower than usual when passing schools in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to allow children a glimpse of Father Christmas, who will brave the heights and cold wind by hanging out of it.
The fly-past over Bucks is expected over RAF Halton around 12.40pm and 1pm following its take off from RAF Benson in Oxfordshire.
RAF Benson said on social media Santa will “spread a little Christmas cheer to local school.”
They added: “The helicopter will be at lower level than usual when flying past the schools to allow Santa to wave to the children. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to local residents.”
When the news of Santa’s fly-past spread on social media, excited residents suggested schools Santa should fly past.
