Following complaints about the GP services in Buckinghamshire this week, residents across the county have claimed they are also struggling to book a GP appointment.
Gary Otoole, a patient at Kingswood Surgery said: "No point even trying. Absolute disgrace. They still treat us as if in lockdown still."
Another patient at the Wye Valley said: "Not very easy. Wye Valley takes ages to answer."
Sue Cucksey said: "I spent an hour on hold in a queue to my gp surgery. Finally answered and they cut me off. Started again. Another half hour wait on hold."
Lynn Garricks added: "I've been waiting 28 days for a phone call appointment. My initial phone back was 10 days. Then my surgery was closed Monday for the Queens funeral so it was put back again for the 28th. This is just a phone call"
Some patients have had better experiences of having their call answered by their doctor's surgery.
Maggie Moran said: "I have never had a problem getting an appointment at Rectory Meadow. They are brilliant."
Threeways Surgery patient Alan Binky said he's "never been an issue" as they provide a "fantastic service."
This comes after the NHS England's Patient Survey 2022 released in July revealed some of Buckinghamshire's hardest and easiest GP surgeries to get through to when booking an appointment.
According to the data, Iver Medical Centre was rated as one of the hardest GP practices to book an appointment at.
Out of 98 surveys received, only 16 per cent of patients found it easy to get through to a GP via phone.
To compare,The Hall Practice in Chalfont St.Peter received a similar number of surveys (96) but 71 per cent of patients found it easy to get through to a GP on the phone.
