YOUR favourite building or public space in Buckinghamshire has a chance to win in the design awards.
Buckinghamshire Design Awards by Bucks Council wants to hear residents’ nominations for best buildings in the county.
In this year’s awards, people are asked to nominate the best public spaces, historic places, unique buildings, new communities, travel and transport and climate change and nature.
Peter Strachan, Bucks Council Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration, said: “Good design can help deliver great places to live and work as well as a healthy environment everyone in Buckinghamshire can enjoy.
"We have some great projects right across the county and the Awards are one way we can all celebrate these.

The deadline for nominations was extended from September to October.
The awards spotlight the best spaces affecting the design quality and natural environment in Bucks, while encourage landowners and developers to deliver better places to live and work while nature can thrive.
Members of the public will also get the chance to look at the shortlist and vote for an overall winner of The People’s Choice Award, with voting closing in late February 2023
After the professional panel of judges has made their choice, the winners will be announced at an award ceremony on March 2.
