A proclamation ceremony for King Charles III will take place in Market Square in High Wycombe this weekend.
The proclamation of a new monarch is an age-old ceremony last performed in February 1952 on the Accession of Queen Elizabeth II.
It will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday, September 11, as one of a series of similar events in towns and cities throughout the nation.

Queen Victoria Road will be closed to traffic from 2.30pm for public safety.
The Short Stay Car Park on Queen Victoria Road is a temporary memorial site for members of the public to lay flowers.
