The actor behind famous TV comedy characters was seen filming in Amersham town centre.
Leigh Francis, the creator of the early 2000s comedy sketch Channel 4’s Bo Selecta and ITV’s Keith Lemon, was spotted by an eagle eye Amersham resident yesterday (June 15).
The 49-year-old comedy actor of ITV's Celebrity Juice was seen wearing a neck brace, camouflage jacket and blue jeans, while a crew member’s hands were lifted close to his face to prepare him for the shooting – claimed to be for the upcoming episodes of the series Avid Merrion.

Apparently, two or three security personnel were seen at the Hill Avenue location, while camera crew held what appeared to be ‘Ronin 2 Gimbal’ camera stabiliser costing more than £6,400 with Alexa mini camera with a price tag of around £68,000.
Avid Merrion is a character in Bo Selecta, a Romanian host who lives in Hackney, London, and continuously wears a neck brace, which was seen on Mr Francis in another picture posted on Twitter.

A fan site for Bo Selecta said the imaginary character's current whereabouts are unknown.
Could the recent filming in Amersham mark a new beginning for Avid Merrion?
