Aircraft are set to soar over the skies of Buckinghamshire in a couple of hours for the final day of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. 

However, doubts are mounting up over whether or not the Red Arrows' display will actually go ahead.

This morning's display in Torbay was called off after organisers reported poor visibility and "extremely" low clouds. 

Poor weather conditions have also resulted in the early afternoon display at RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and RAF Chinook being cancelled.

On Twitter, a spokesperson from the English Riviera Airshow, which had been due to feature the Red Arrows, said the forecast is being reviewed "very closely".

However, the schedule is "very likely to change", they said.

After taking off from Exeter, the aircraft are expected to fly over Stoke Poges, Langley, Burnham and Taplow at around 5.06pm.

The event is one of the highlights of the last day of Jubilee celebrations.

The original plan had been for the aircraft to pass over south Bucks - including Langley, Iver, Stoke Poges, Burnham and Taplow, at around 5.06pm, coming from the east.

A spokesperson from the English Rivera Airshow tweeted: "With regards to the rest of the afternoon's flying schedule, we are constantly reviewing the forecast and working with our teams on the ground at various airports to make a decision as to whether or not our display teams are safe and able to fly.

"The schedule is very likely to change from what has been advertised and we will keep you constantly updated on our channels so please keep your eyes peeled."
