'Marlow Film Studios is a great idea - but it's in the wrong place'
I write with regard to all the big names who support the Marlow Film Studios venture, as reported in the Free Press last week (June 29). These people - including Andrew Neil - do not live in or near Marlow, or the surrounding area, especially near the site of the proposed studios. I wonder what kind of house they live in and what their view out of their front windows is like, one can only image that their view does not include 70 foot high warehouses and multi story carpark, but that is what they want to foist upon myself and my neighbours. Yes the site was a quarry, yes it was landfill, but it has by the council been classed as greenbelt.
