A NON LEAGUE legend who has had 39 separate transfers in his career will stay on at Amersham Town as an assistant manager.

Richard Pacquette, who has also had stints in the Football League with Brentford, Queens Park Rangers and Mansfield Town, joined the Magpies as player/assistant manager, and scored nine goals in 24 league games.

However, it seems that the 41-year-old will hang up his boots (for now) as he helped manager Stuart Atkins take charge of the South Bucks team during the 2024/25 season.

Pacquette began his career as a school player at Queens Park Rangers, before breaking into the first team in 2000.

Across the next four years, he featured in 41 games for the West London team in both the second and third tier, scoring seven goals.

His time at Loftus Road saw him go out on loan to Stevenage, Dagenham & Redbridge and Mansfield.

Since then, he has represented the following teams:

  • Milton Keynes
  • Brentford
  • Farnborough Town
  • Stevenage (second spell)
  • St Albans City
  • Hemel Hempstead Town
  • Hampton & Richmond Borough
