Primary school pupils are doing their bit to be as eco-friendly as possible as they have encouraged their parents to recycle all their plastic waste.
Students from the Curzon Church of England School in Amersham have been learning about what happens to discarded objects when they have been used.
And upon discovering that many goods get recycled, they wanted to do their bit to try and help the environment.
How so? They began to collect the soft plastics that we use in school so they can be reused.
Parents at the start of the month were then told about the project.
All the soft plastic items will then be taken to a nearby Co-op as part of their initiative.
Mr Philip Owen from the school said: “We plan on continuing to collect and recycle as much soft plastic as we can, as we want to do something to help the environment.”
