POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man broke into a property on Friday.

The burglary happened between 3pm and 4pm on Manor Road in Bletchley, north Buckinghamshire.

Police said the offender broke into the rear of the property, stealing a debit card, cash and jewellery.

The offender is described as a white man in his late 20s.

He is between 5ft 6inch and 5ft 8inch tall, and of a slim build. He was wearing a black jacket and a pair of thin gardening gloves.

Staff Investigator Sophie Gibbs said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this burglary, or anyone with information which could help our investigation, to please come forward.
