MARLOW have appointed Mark Bartley as their new manager as they look to bounce back from relegation.
The former Hayes, Slough Town and Burnham player was announced as the new Blues boss this week ahead of the upcoming season in the Hellenic Premier League.
He has been tasked with leading Marlow back into the Southern League after guiding Reading Town to safety last season.
Bartley will be joined in the dugout by ex-professional Marcus Richardson, with the former Cambridge United, Hartlepool and Torquay United man still registered as a player.
Completing the new management line-up are UEFA B licence coach Roy Hanley and conditioning coach Lawrence Kingsbury, a former Bournemouth youngster and national athlete.
They replace Steve Croxford, who failed to prevent Marlow from being relegated at the end of last season. He stepped up from the role of assistant manager when previous boss Kevin Stone resigned following the death of his father.
Chairman Terry Staines told the Marlow website: “The club would also like to put on record its appreciation of the service and commitment given by Steve Croxford over many seasons and particularly for his efforts in difficult circumstances in the latter part of last season which proved to be one of many disappointments.”
