Alfie Mawson capped a remarkable debut season in professional football by picking up the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Year awards.
The defender, who made his senior debut against Newport County on the opening day of the season, has played 47 times for Wanderers so far this season and his all action performances made him an instant hit with the fans.
The event, which was held in the Vere Suite at Adams Park on Sunday night, saw the 21-year-old collect three awards from the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association (OWWSA) to go with his club awards.
He was presented with the Player, Young Player and Away Travel Player of the Year awards by the OWWSA.
Mawson turned to social media to express his gratitude tweeting:
To get my debut was one thing, to get these awards and recongnition is one thing, thank you so much #WWFC

There was an award for the centre-back’s defensive partner Aaron Pierre, who picked up the Young Player of the Year award.
The 21-year-old joined Wanderers on a permanent basis in the summer, after a loan spell last season, and has since made 46 appearances and scoring five goals.
.@AaronPierre6 says it was his ambition last year to win this award this season, and says of @AlfieMawson - "I love the guy." #WWAwards

Sam Wood’s spectacular effort against Morecambe won him the Goal of the Season award.
Elsewhere Joe Jacobson was named Community Player of the Season and Gordon Reilly, who is part of the stadium team, won the Unsung Hero prize.
Back on Twitter and the Wycombe players were quick to congratulate Mawson on an excellent first season in senior football.

Well deserved winners @AlfieMawson and Aaron Pierre. A few suspect speeches here. Some media training needed. @wwfcofficial
