REECE Styche could be playing international football next month after being given a call-up to the Gibraltar squad.
The Wanderers forward is one of six English based players to be called up for friendly matches against the Faroe Islands and Estonia.
Gibraltar were only accepted as a full UEFA member last year and have so far played just one game, a goalless draw against Slovakia. They will take part in their first qualifying campaign for the 2016 European Championships, but they are ineligible to take part in World Cup qualifying.
Styche, who was born in Sutton Coldfield, will miss Blues' match at Southend United as a result, with Gibraltar facing the Faroes on March 1. They then face Estonia on March 5.
Both matches will be played in Portgual, with building work currently taking place at Gibraltar's national stadium.
