LEE Angol will remain as a Wycombe Wanderers player for another season after signing a new contract.
The 18-year-old forward put pen to paper on a new one year deal today, committing his future to the club until the summer of 2014.
He made four appearances for Blues last season, making his professional debut against Championship play-off finalists Watford in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
Angol didn't make a first team appearance after Gareth Ainsworth took control of the side, but he has been rewarded for his fine form during a loan spell at non-league Hendon with a new contract.
He scored three goals in ten games for the Greens after joining on loan with fellow Wanderers youngster Junior Morias.
Angol told the club website: "I’m chuffed to be honest. Last season was a difficult one for me and for the team I suppose, so this one is going to be big one for both of us.
"The loan helped me a lot in terms of match fitness and getting me physically aware of the game. Having Junior there with me also helped, I enjoyed it and learnt a lot."
