A huge cash and carry could be built on the site of the temporary park-and-ride in High Wycombe, creating a possible 250 jobs.
Wholesale giants Costco want to discuss plans to develop a store in Cressex after buying land from the council.
Wycombe District Council has sold the temporary park-and-ride site, based alongside Next, to Costco, subject of planning basis, and the company now want to hear from residents ahead of any development.
The proposed store opening would create 160 jobs, which could eventually rise to 250 jobs within three years.
Costco will be holding a public exhibition in Cressex on Monday in order to discuss their proposed plans for a new Membership Warehouse Club.
They aim to discuss with residents possible planning matters, layout, access, construction and car parking.
The exhibition will be held in the Holiday Inn Redgrave Suite, at Handy Cross, from 12pm to 8pm.
The former Cressex park-and-ride site will be moved as part of the WDC Handy X Hub project, which includes the new Wycombe Leisure Centre and a Waitrose supermarket.
