FIREWORKS will be exploding across the skies of south Bucks in a range of displays across the area over the coming weeks.

Listed below is a run down of events across the area for 2010.

Friday, November 5

AMERSHAM: Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club, Ash Grove, Amersham. Friday November 5, fireworks start at 6.45pm. Family ticket £15, adults £5, children £3. No sparklers please.

CHESHAM: Chesham United FC, in Amy Lane, will get the celebrations rolling from 6pm. Adults £6, under-16s £4, family ticket for two adults and two children £18. Schools have been invited to enter the competition for the Best Guy, with the winner to be announced by the Mayor Cllr Jane Bramwell on the night.

GREAT KINGSHILL: Great Kingshill Firework Display will take place in the field opposite Pipers Lane on Friday, November 5, with the gates opening at 6pm. Tickets are £5 each or £15 for four persons if obtained from the Spar shop or the Post Office. Mulled wine for a warm-up, sausages, soup and cold drinks. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. Own fireworks not to be brought to the field.

MARLOW: Foxes Piece School will kick off the festivities with a display next Friday, November 5, from 6pm. There will be a beer tent, refreshments and fairground rides. Adults cost £5, children cost £3.

FULMER: King George's Field from 6.15pm with the bonfire lit at 7.15pm. Fireworks start at 7.30pm. Family tickets are £15 or £12 in advance, adults £5 or £4 in advance and children £4 or £3. They are available from the Black Horse pub and the Sports and Community Association in Fulmer. Call 01753 662705 for more details.

NORTH DEAN: The display will start at 6pm and tickets will cost £8, but will include a barbecue with complimentary gourmet burger and icecream.

Saturday, November 6

AMERSHAM ON THE HILL: Amersham and Chesham Lions Club will be holding its display at Amersham-on-the-Hill cricket club, Woodside Road. The gates will open at 6.15pm with the display starting at 7pm. Prices are £5 for adults and £1 for children.

BEACONSFIELD: Fireworks at the cricket club in Wilton Park, in the Old Town on Saturday, November 6. Gates open at 6pm and a bonfire will be lit at 7.10pm. The fireworks will start at 7.45pm. Event is organised by Beaconsfield Round Table and all proceeds are in aid of local charities. Tickets are available on the night from the main entrance. Adults - £5, Children under 14 - £4, Family - £15. Advance tickets are up to £3 cheaper and can be purchased from Ricki's News, Hughes Garage, Beaconsfield Post Office, A.J. CHALFONT ST GILES: Stone Meadow in Chalfont St Giles hosts a display for the 41st year running. The gates open at 6pm, with the bonfire being lit half an hour later and the 20-minute firework display starting at 7pm.

Savings can be made by buying tickets in advance from The Olde Post House, Chalfont Pets and Yaldens in the village, and the Jolly Cricketers Pub in Seer Green, the Nucleus Gallery in Chalfont St Peter, or from the village green in Chalfont St Giles on the morning of Saturday October 30 and November 6.

Advance tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children. Tickets on the gate are a pound more. A family ticket is £15 in advance and £18 on the gate. Children under three can get in for free.

Food, hot and cold soft drinks, mulled wine and novelties will be for sale.

FLACKWELL HEATH: Fireworks display at the Carrington Playing Fields in Chapel Lane. Gates will open at 6pm. Two displays of fireworks at 6.45pm and 7.45pm. There will also be the usual competition for the best Guy. If it is wet, wear wellies and wrap up warm. The organisers ask that no fireworks, not even sparklers, be brought to the event. £5 in advance or £6 on gate, under 5s free. Email:Carringtonpta@aol.com for more information.

HIGH WYCOMBE: The annual High Wycombe Round Table Fireworks event will be held at Four Ashes Field, Kingshill Road, Terriers, on Saturday 6 November 2010 The gates open at 5pm and the bonfire is lit at 6pm, with fireworks scheduled to launch at 6.30pm.There will also be food, drinks and fairground rides.

Advance tickets cost £12 in advance or £17 on the night for cars, or £5 per adult and £3 per child on foot.

Car parking will only be on the Main Event field.

MARLOW: Longridge will be hosting its annual fireworks display on the same night. There will be a 30-minute show with music, food, drink, river trips and activity stalls.

Gates open at 5.30pm. The display will start at approximately 7.15pm and gates close at 9.30pm.

Tickets are available from Longridge, from the Marlow Tourist Office and via www.longridge-uk.org. Adults cost £7 (£9 on gate), Children £5 (£6 on gate) and a family of four £20.00 (£26 on gate).

MARLOW BOTTOM: This display will be hosted at Burford School in Marlow Bottom. Fireworks start approx 7pm and there will be a range of other attractions including a fire eater, fairground rides and shooting gallery.

Tickets available in advance, from Marlow Tourist Info, Burford School or online at www.marlowbottomfireworks.com. Adults cost £6, Children cost £5, or £20 for a family of two and two. All tickets on the gate cost £8.

NAPHILL: Fireworks will be on November 6 on the Crick in Naphill. There is a BBQ and pavilion bar from 5.30pm and the fire is lit at 6pm, with the fireworks display at 7pm. BBQ food, mulled wine and soup on offer. Advance tickets available from the post office and other businesses in the village and are £5 for adults and £1.50 for children. On the night adult tickets are £6 and £2 for children.

PRESTWOOD: Prestwood, Kingshill and Misbourne Scouts fireworks evening will be held in the Wren Davis field in Wycombe Road, Prestwood, from 6.15pm with the Bonfire Lighting Ceremony at 7pm. Tickets are obtainable from local shops price £4 single, £9 for a family, and on the day/gate £5 single and £12 family.Also on that evening, Great Missenden Combined School in Church Lane hold their Firework Evening from 5.30pm, with the firework display and bonfire at 7pm. Tickets from the school office, Samways and Café Twit.

SPEEN: The Bonfire Night event starts from 5.30pm on the playing fields. Tickets in advance are £5 for adults and £3 for under 14s from the village shop. On the gate it is £1 extra. Gates open at 5.30pm followed by the bonfire being lit and a fireworks display. BBQ and drinks available.

STOKENCHURCH: The Stokenchurch Scouts and Guides are holding a Guy Fawkes celebration. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm with the fireworks display starting at 7pm. Refreshments will be available. Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for children. To help with transport the Stokenchurch Community Bus will run a shuttle service from the Kings Hotel starting at 5.45pm.

STUDLEY GREEN: THERE will be a bonfire and fireworks at the Studley Green Community Centre from 6pm.

Sunday, November 7

AMERSHAM: Winchmore Hill Cricket Club on Horsemoor Lane. Bonfire is lit at 7pm with a bar and barbeque. Tickets on the gate are £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s.

BLEDLOW RIDGE: THE Bledlow Ridge Bonfire Night starts at 4.30pm at the field by the Darusso Restaurant in Chinnor Road, Bledlow Ridge.

There will be fireworks by Sonning Fireworks Ltd, BBQ food, hot drinks and soup, plus a bar and mulled wine.

Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire at 5.30pm and fireworks at 6.30pm. Advance prices are £5 for adults, children £3 and family £14. On the night prices are adult £8, children £5 and family £22. Get advance tickets from the Country Store, Bledlow Ridge or call 01494481524.

Saturday, November 13

PENN: THE Annual Fireworks Display at Penn School is from 6pm onwards. Fireworks start at 7.30pm. Tickets are from the school office. Refreshments available throughout the evening. Tickets are £6 for adults, £4 for under 16s and free for under threes.
