A MAN has been charged over the death of a cyclist in Gerrards Cross.
Ali Altuntas, 36, from Leadale Avenue, London is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and perverting the course of public justice.
Jim Fleming, 47 was killed after being struck by a vehicle while cycling along the A413 Amersham Road on April 1.
He was travelling to work as a haywarden for Chalfont St Peter Parish Council.
The death left his young son William an orphan. Mr Fleming’s wife Pam died of cervical cancer in August last year.
Mr Altuntas was released on conditional bail to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on December 17.
