M40 closed following lorry fire - drivers advised to avoid area
All traffic is currently being held due to a lorry fire on the M40.
The fire was reported earlier this afternoon on the M40 Southbound from J4 A404 (High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout) to J3 A40 Knaves Beech (Loudwater).
The Entry slip road is also closed.
Police have confirmed there are restrictions northbound due to smoke.
Two lanes are also closed and slow traffic has built on the M40 Southbound from J5 A40 Ibstone Road (Stokenchurch) to J4 A404 (High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout) as a result of the fire.
Matrix signs confirm lanes one and two (Of three) have been closed to assist with the fire at J4.
