A deep sinkhole has opened up in a Beaconsfield road.

The hole, which is metres deep, has appeared in the pavement outside homes on Seeleys Road.

A member of the public told the Bucks Free Press a child had been injured falling into the hole this afternoon, leaving them with a bleeding leg.

When a reporter from this paper visited the scene, maintenance teams were on site and had boarded up the hole.
